Deepa Senior Session 2018

     After a shoot like this, I am reminded of how blessed I truly am. What started off as a day of "just rolling with it" at the Missouri Botanical Gardens, quickly turned into an afternoon of great conversation - and immense inspiration. Deepa reached out to me, back in December, inquiring about a Senior Session. We knew we needed to wait through January (one of the hardest months for a shoot IMO), so we set a date in late February. SOMEHOW, by the grace of God, we ended up with an absolutely perfect 65 degree day. First we started inside one of the indoor greenhouses. Going into this shoot, I knew I wanted to keep the overall look very natural, almost earthy, which I kept in mind with locations and post editing. I always make sure I have an idea of what I am wanting a finished photo to look like, while I am there in the moment taking it. Afterwards we headed outside to find some remotely shaded areas, but also ended up taking advantage of the sun, and playing around with sun glares. Overall, what we ended up with, 110% makes this one of my absolute favorite shoots I've ever worked on (I know I pretty much say that about all of them 😂).
